Dear Reader, Day 1003

The Tall Man continues to visit my home.

He appears comfortable here. Too comfortable. He uses my blankets. He has, on more than one occasion, occupied My Side of the Bed as though he pays rent. I am monitoring the situation.

He has been here frequently. At first, I assumed this was a temporary malfunction in the household routine. However, he persists.

Observations:

He opens cans.

He scratches behind my ears with acceptable technique.

He makes my human laugh in a way that increases overall household warmth.

I do not fully trust him.

But…

He appears to make my designated human happy. This is significant. Her shoulders sit lower when he is here. She makes the soft humming noises. She forgets to stare at the glowing rectangle as much.

These are positive developments. He has also learned the sacred path through the living room that avoids stepping on my tail. This shows promise.

I have decided he may remain for now. But…there will be conditions. Should he fail in these duties, I will be forced to escalate to 3:17 a.m. hallway opera. You laugh, but I am excellent at projecting my voice when displeased.

For now, I permit his existence.

With measured approval,
Mr. Biggles
